Hi, i'm desperately trying to connect my wireless printer (hp deskjet 3630) to my new macbook. i have downloaded the right installation software but the device isn't detected.... I am also trying to link my macbook pro (10.8.5) to a printer (also hp photosmart c4780) by wifi. the difference i have is that i am using an existing macbook pro and printer, the only thing i have changed (today) is the router and hence the wifi network/name.. To set up an hp printer on a wireless (wi-fi) network, connect the printer to the wireless network, then install the print driver and software from the hp website on a mac computer. when prompted during the installation, select wireless as the connection type..
